Formerly leader of The Czars, John Grant now gone solo takes his tour through Berlin in support of his debut album “Queen of Denmark”…….which definitely is in the lead in the “Scariest Album Cover of the Year” competition(this photo isn’t it, Ed). Don’t let the cover put you off though, Grant excels in piano driven orchestrations which he carefully builds up into gorgeous full-bodied songs. After The Czars break-up, Grant found himself on a tour with Midlake who took him under their wing and became his new band and backed him up on his debut solo album.
